"The Rain Doesn't Know Friends From Foes"

Megan: I appreciate the decision to curate the presentation of these videos on screens in the middle of the room at an angle. It allows the viewers to see the piece in a crowded space, it makes it more interesting to walk through, and then I am overwhelmed by seeing all of the screens at once. I think the lighting is just right and the scale of the walls the piece are projected on are just right. I like the way that the added elements (it looks like paint and drawing materials mostly?) allow my mind to take footage of challenging subject matter and stay engaged. There is a censorship-style quality to the videos, sometimes humor in the imagery, that make it possible for my brain not to shut down from the intensity of the content but not so obscured that I can't see what is happening.
